Contracting Overview

Sharrow Commercial is a key player in the staffing industry and can meet all your
staffing needs. In addition to the traditional direct (permanent) placement need, contract assignments are becoming a necessity, along with other staffing alternatives like Temp-to-Direct Hire, 1099 Conversions, and Retiree Re-staffing. Let Sharrow Commercial address all your recruiting needs.

The commercial and industrial construction industries are very competitive, and in order to be both broad and deep in your expertise, contractors and strategic alliances are critical. Staffing is the same. In order to serve you best, Sharrow Commercial has partnered with Top Echelon Contracting, Inc (TEC) in an effort to expand our value.

Here’s how the partnership will function….

To meet your staffing needs, Sharrow Commercial will recruit candidates and coordinate with Top Echelon to see to it that you don’t have to worry about all of the payroll and administrative issues. Top Echelon Contracting actually becomes your vendor and the employer of your assigned contract and alternative staff. This allows Sharrow Commercial to focus on its core strengths of recruiting, attracting and retaining top Industrial and Commercial Talent for its client companies.

The Sharrow Commercial and Top Echelon Contracting partnership simplifies staffing and maximizes your workforce flexibility. You simply authorize billing by signing weekly timesheets and pay corresponding invoices, while the qualified staff at Top Echelon Contracting handles everything else, including:

Alternative Staffing Solutions

Temp to Direct Hire lets you
evaluate skill level, technical ability,
and personality before you make an offer. Also used when open requisitions are not available but you need to fill a critical gap.

1099 Conversions are when independent contractors” who are currently being paid via a 1099 are converted to an employee of TEC because they're incorrectly classified. This can reduce your legal exposure.

Non-recruited Contract Staffing
If you have found the perfect candidate to fill a temporary need, but you don’t want to add him/her to your own payroll, consider using TEC.

In all cases, TEC eliminates:
Painful terminations
Payroll hassles
Unemployment claims
Layoff issues
Negative publicity
